My friend Lawrence is suicidal and I need your help.

One of my friends - I only recently met him; he’s a friend of one of my very close friends - attempted suicide the other day, and today, he posted this video on youtube (it’s unlisted so if it doesn’t embed properly, this is a direct link to it.)

He really needs to be sent positive messages of support and hope. I know tumblr can often rally thousands of people to help save one person’s life. I can only send him one person’s support, but together, we can send so many more.

I don’t like to talk about it much, but I myself suffer from depression and attempted to kill myself when I was a teenager. Thankfully I failed, and things have gotten better. But he’s still in the place where I was emotionally back then and I remember how that feels, and maybe you’ve been there as well.

I don’t normally ask for people to take time to do something for me or reblog things, but please, send Lawrence a message of support on facebook to let him know that people care and that he is not alone.
